Kamal Hassan celebrates his 57th birthday on Nov 7th. This multiple National Award winner and mufti-faceted personality has contributed to Indian cinema in ways more than one.
Kamal Hassan had converted his fans club earlier into welfare associations that are striving to bring about a difference in the society. His welfare association usually does various activities in various parts of the city on Kamal’s birthday every year.
ALL INDIA KAMAL HASSAN WELFARE ASSOCIATION on 6th and 7thof Nov 2011 is conducting some welfare measures & Blood donation camps for the needy peoples in order to celebrate Padmashri Dr Kamal’s Birthday that falls on 7th Nov 2011.
Medicines and clothing are being given away to the old and needy at the Kaakum Karangal Home, fans are donating organs apart from blood donation at Udhavum Kaigal, food is being served to HIV affected children and various other activities are undertaken.
Kamal Hassan has been acting since the age of 5. Till now, Kamal is flourishing in his acting career. Experimenting has always been his favourite and that’s why he has entered places where no one dared to go take for e.g. Apoorva Sagodharargal, Avai shanmughi , Indian, Dasavatharam.
The actor has always been an artist who has always striven to challenge the average thoughts on cinema as just a form of entertainment. Hassan is known for winning several Indian film awards, including National Film Awards and Filmfare Awards, and has the distinction of being the actor with the most number of films submitted by India in contest for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
Kamal is currently busy with work on ‘Viswaroopam’, in which he is playing a challenging character. The film is taking shape at a fast pace and the cast and crew are tight-lipped about this venture. ‘Viswaroopam’ will be a bi-lingual in Tamil and Hindi which will be dubbed later to other languages.
